Dalyan Grand Emir Hotel

Nice budget all inclusive hotel 20min walking distance from Dalyan centre. Stopped there as an alternative hotel after our flight was cancelled, we were around 50 passengers. We spent one night. Room was tidy, clean and having little balcony close to the main swimming pool. There was a good verity of breakfast, tea coffee and juice

Lovely hotel and only a 10-15min walk into Dalyan or a very short taxi ride. Accommodation good and clean, however no space to hang anything longer than a shirt. Food was good, could be a little cold at times and manly catered for Turkish but we are in Turkey. Chef was very accommodating in cooking us dishes more to our palette and hotter. Staff mostly very helpfully given that we do not speak any Turkish and English is not the only language they need to understand, only the odd one who wasn't wiling to try. Room cleaner was very nice, helpfully and understanding. I used the spa once, my first time massage. It was great, again the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for a few hours on a transit prior to being taken to the airport. Consequently this review is literally based on our eight hour visit. We found the rooms to be very adequate, with welcome use of the AC and shower. This particular shower was so powerful, the water would blast over the shower screen, so moderation is advised. Possibly the maintenance team could consider adjusting the water pressure / tightening the shower head bracket to prevent potential flood damage to the room. The buffet selection at the restaurant was good and really tasty, but the dessert selection was poor unfortunately. Drinks had to be paid separately, but considering I was paying next to nothing for the use of the room with dinner included, paying for drinks was not an unreasonable requirement. We found the staff really friendly and efficient, and requests for assistance with the WiFi and the use of a luggage scale were easily accommodated. Other reviews were critical of the beds and other furnishings, but I would consider the furnishings appropriate to the hotels status as a three star establishment. The only real criticism I have (hence my 4 star review), would be the air conditioning unit which although very effective in cooling the room, produced a very annoying ticking sound when it was switched off which went on for ages.

Really lovely hotel, rooms very clean and restaurant looks like new. Evening buffet has nice choice if you like cold food and only 6 hot items, Not as great for kids and fussy eaters. Lots of very very sweet desserts too, most dripping in syrup. Pools lovely with one which has 4 water slides. Proximity to the airport isn't bad either.

Well, I am going to share the pics of my daughter her back is bitten by insects or some other biting bugs. The rest needs no comments. I definitely recommend the administration of the hotel to throw the old sofas, replace ancient time air conditioners and do URGENT bug 🪲🐛 desinfection of the site. I definitely DONT recommend this place until all the precautions above are done.

This place was genuinely awful. Admittedly we only stayed for 6 hours (as it was a stop off at the end of a day excursion before we went to the airport). However, in that short time.. The shower broke.. Twice! The door handle literally came off in my hand when I opened the door. The room was bare, absolutely nothing, there was a cupboard, which had no bottom. The draws looked like they were falling apart. The mattress was like laying on a wooden board, the bed was genuinely horrendous. If you like sleeping on springs and cardboard then this is the place for you! We had the food, we wish we hadn't. It looked bad, tasted worse. We bought two drinks at dinner and it was around £5 for a pint (it's about 2 in town). The place overall looked dirty. Speaking to over people on the excursion who stayed for a few hours with us, they also did not approve of the hotel at all. However it served it's purpose of a stop off point to (try to) shower and change. Although we didn't even attempt to sleep on the awful bed. But we spent 10 days in Turkey and had a glorious time, I can only imagine the horror of spending even a day at this hotel. Oh and bring shower gel. There was only two tiny bottles of shampoo, and a bar of hand soap.
